- On December 8 Dr. Margarita Poškutė shared the results of the survey conducted during the INTEGRITY project and presented a paper "Research integrity: students' knowledge and experience" at the meeting, organized by the Ministry of Education, Science and Sport of Lithuania for the representatives of regional schools.

- On November 30 - December 2  Assoc. Prof. (PD) Dr. Andreas Jüttemann from Brandenburg Medical University visited the Centre under the Erasmus+ program. Dr. A. Jüttemann delivered three lectures to the students and academic teachers of the Medical Faculty.

- On November 27-30 Prof. Eugenijus Gefenas participated in the round-table discussion at the 22nd conference "Transitioning into the Post Pandemic Era: Ethical Values, Challenges and Approaches", organized by the Forum for Ethical Review Committees in the Asian and Western Pacific Region (FERCAP). - On November 10 Prof. Eugenijus Gefenas and Lect. Vilma Lukaševičienė delivered the paper "Ethical issues in human subject research" at the workshop "Research Integrity", organized by the European Molecular Biology Organization (EMBO).  Programme can be found here.

- On November 9 d. Prof. Eugenijus Gefenas (VU), Lect. Natalija Kancevičienė (VU), Lect. Vilma Lukaševičienė (VU) and Dirk Lanzareth (EUREC) presented the paper "Reorganizing research ethics committees and the new regualtion for clinical trials" at the The Dutch Association for Medical Ethics Review Committees (De Nederlandse Vereniging voor Medisch-Ethische toetsingscommissies) sonline meeting. - On October 20-21 Prof. Eugenijus Gefenas and Dr. Asta Čekanauskaitė participated in the training session "Protection of Human Rights in Biomedicine" for the member of Armenian Research Ethics Committees, organized by the European Network of Research Committees (EUREC) under the Council of Europe Action Plan for Armenia 2019-2022. Dr. Asta Čekanauskaitė presented the paper "Organisation and Composition of RECs within the European Union: the Example in Lithuania".

- On August 24-27  Prof. Eugenijus Gefenas, Dr. Aistė Bartkienė, Dr. Asta Čekanauskaitė, PhD student Jūratė Lekstutienė and Dr. Margarita Poškutė presented their papers at the 34th European Society for Philosophy of Medicine and Healthcare conference "Diversity and Bioethics" in Warsaw, Poland. - On June 10 Dr. Aistis Žalnora presented the paper "Department of Hygiene at Stephen Bathory University and public hygiene education via popular magazines in Vilnius in 1919-1939" at the 30th Baltic Conference on the History and Philosophy of Science".  Download a programme here.

- On June 9  Dr. Aistė Bartkienė with colleagues presented a paper about the developing of the circular economy from the perpective of the ethics of care in Riga (Latvia).

- On June 8-9 d. Prof Eugenijus Gefenas and Lect. Natalija Kancevičienė participated in EUREC meeting on debureaucratization, digitalization, social cooperation and other challenges for ethics committees. A programme can be found here. 

- On May 29 - June 1 Lect. Vygintas Aliukonis, Prof. Eugenijus Gefenas, Dr. Margarita Poškutė and Dr. Aistė Bartkienė presented the paper "Negative results - briew overview"  at the 7th World Conference on Research Integrity. A programme can be found here.

- On May 20 Dr. Aistis Žalnora presented the paper "Public hygiene education via popular medical journals in Vilnius in 1922-1939" at the conference of the Lithuanian Society of Historians and Philosophers of Science (Lietuvos mokslo istorikų ir filosofų bendrija) "Scientia et historia".

- On April 19 Prof. Eugenijus Gefenas, PhD student Jūratė Lekstutienė and Lect. Vilma Lukaševičienė presented the paper "Interaction between research ethics guidelines and data protection regulation" at the project EU-STANDS4PM online workshop. Programme can be found here.

- On March 18-19 Dr. Aistis Žalnora presented the paper "The paradox of social medicine in the Socialist Republic of Lithuania: Vilnius Medical Society" at the conference "Bridging the Baltic V: Negotiating the common good – medical networks and transfers across the Iron Curtain in the Baltic Sea Area c. 1945-2004" in Odense, Denmark.
